About Me
My
name is Bruce Schubert. I'm a software designer and developer,
and the owner of Emxsys.
My current mission is the development of the Wildfire Management Tool. However, to maintain sustainablity for this free open source project, I am also available as an Independent Contractor.
Prior to this endeavor, I was the software architect and developer of the AeroComputers' UltiChart Mission Management System -- a moving map system for the airborne public safety sector.
In years past, I served as an ICS Situation Unit Leader for the Ventura County Fire Department (California). And many years before that I was a volunteer Battalion Chief for Kitsap County Fire District 7 (Washington).
Presently, I'm a motorcycle patrol volunteer for the California State Parks Hungry Valley SVRA, performing search and rescue in one of California's largest off-highway vehicle parks.
